Staff

Currently, the Department for Theatre, Film and Media Studies (tfm) employs five university professors, two associate university professors, three assistant professors and five emeritus or retired professors. Furthermore, 24 scientific staff members work at the tfm as pre-docs, post-docs, senior scientists, project staff members or academic staff. 10 university employees and eight study assistants ensure the smooth running of teaching and administration. Each semester, about 50 lecturers and about 20 tutors supportteaching at the tfm.

Guest lectures regularly enrich the tfm program of events. This ensures examination of theoretical positions and artistic practice at an international standard: Directors, stage designers, dramaturges, (screenplay) writers, art and cultural managers as well as internationally renowned researchers guarantee diversity and the highest professionalism of the teaching offered.
