Am 29.und 30. Mai fand am tfm das Symposium Against the Grain. Images of the Spanish Civil War statt.

Das Symposium aktualisierte den Forschungsstand zum Thema Fotografie und Erinnerungskultur des Spanischen Bürgerkriegs anhand von fünf Beiträgen internationaler Forscher*innen und wurde in Anwesenheit der Botschafterin und der Kulturreferentin der Spanischen Botschaft in Wien eröffnet.
